The opportunity
Blackwoods is seeking a careful, well-organised Storeperson to join its Distribution Centre team in Mackay, Queensland. This is a permanent full-time role based on a Monday-to-Friday schedule, suited to someone who brings a positive attitude, can work consistently, and is comfortable with physically active work.
Training will be provided, but the role calls for someone who is safety-minded, capable of meeting performance targets, and confident communicating concerns when needed. Full working rights in Australia are required for this position.
What you'll do
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch accurately and within required timeframes.
- Work to productivity targets and KPIs.
- Keep records, administration tasks, and system updates accurate and current.
- Use RF scanning equipment effectively.

- Some exposure to warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Clear communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proactive, can-do approach.
- Ability to work independently while still contributing well in a team setting.
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
