About the Role
The Storekeeper in Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory management, proper system transactions, and precise stock reconciliation. This role is key to maintaining inventory integrity and guaranteeing smooth operational readiness.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, verify, and securely store all incoming materials and supplies.
- Manage material issuance, receipt processing, and stock transfers via the inventory management system.
- Keep detailed and precise inventory records along with transaction histories; perform daily, monthly, and as-needed stock reconciliations.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure they stay within minimum and maximum thresholds; raise replenishment requests when necessary.
- Generate inventory reports, stock variance analyses, and consumption summaries.
- Collaborate effectively with Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams regarding material requisitions and deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to inventory control procedures, asset management policies, and audit guidelines.
- Maintain well-organized storage areas with proper labeling and storage standards.
- Support financial inventory accuracy through rigorous stock control, system data integrity, inventory reconciliation, and audit compliance.
- Prepare inventory variance documentation and assist the Finance department during audits and reconciliations.
