Job Overview
The role of a Store Sales Executive involves engaging customers warmly upon arrival, identifying their needs carefully, and offering tailored product recommendations. The employee is expected to explain product advantages, answer queries, and demonstrate items to facilitate purchase decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding sales service to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate and understand customer requirements to offer relevant product advice.
- Use product knowledge and enthusiasm to drive sales performance.
- Keep merchandise well-stocked and attractively displayed within the store.
- Proactively approach customers to offer assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Discuss product choices and alternatives, including creative financing options where applicable.
- Engage in cross-selling complementary products and services.
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver excellent customer service.
- Build and nurture trusting relationships with customers for repeat business.
- Participate regularly in sales meetings to stay informed and aligned.
- Support physical inventory counts and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Implement and monitor measures to prevent loss and theft.
Additional Duties
The executive will handle payment processing, bagging or packing purchased goods, and may be entrusted with opening or closing cash registers, including till counting and managing vouchers and coupons. Ensuring adherence to current promotional offers, payment and exchange policies, and security procedures is essential.
