Position Overview
This role involves managing merchandise receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance for retail use.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive merchandise, perform physical and electronic counts to verify accuracy of records.
- Inspect product quality and report any damaged goods to store management.
- Organize and arrange stock in the storeroom according to store protocols to ensure easy product retrieval.
- Tag new inventory and handle product returns under senior staff guidance.
- Support sales team by replenishing shelf stock to maintain product availability.
- Maintain constant vigilance on store security with no lapses.
- Uphold high housekeeping standards in the store environment.
- Be adaptable to work longer hours during sales or festival periods.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items, minimum weight capacity of 10 kg.
- Record stock inflow and outflow accurately and keep detailed reports.
- Identify missing price tags and notify management.
- Participate in stock counting activities as required.
