Role overview

Picard Carl Natursteinwerk GmbH is looking for a Steinmetzgeselle (m/w/d) to strengthen its small team in a hands-on, production-oriented role. The position suits someone who is physically fit, enjoys practical work, and is comfortable taking responsibility in a family-run environment.

What you will do

• Carry out both manual and machine-based stone processing
• Work on solid stone materials and produce masonry stones
• Finish and refine surface details by hand
• Carve inscriptions
• Advise customers when needed
• Prepare finished goods for dispatch, including palletizing
• Clean, maintain, and repair machine tools and equipment

What the employer is looking for

You should have completed training as a stonemason, natural stone mechanic, or a comparable qualification. Previous experience in a production environment is preferred. The role also calls for strong practical skills, a good level of fitness, comfort with machinery, a high level of commitment, and solid teamwork abilities. A forklift license is expected.

A car or truck driving licence is required; a car licence is especially helpful because the workplace is not well connected by public transport.
