About the Role
Join Cencora's World Courier team in Sindelfingen as a Station Manager, where you'll lead a dedicated group focused on enhancing global health outcomes for both people and animals. This position places you at the core of our facility’s operations, tasking you with overseeing daily activities, optimizing operational efficiency and quality, and guiding a motivated team. As a key leader, your role will include managing people and local processes while ensuring adherence to local and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the team by organizing regular meetings, coaching, and training sessions to cultivate a culture of excellence.
- Continuously analyze and document operational workflows, implementing improvements to boost productivity.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and carry out analyses to support evidence-based management decisions.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality standards, incorporating new regulatory requirements into operational practices.
- Establish and nurture strong partnerships with contractors, transportation providers, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth operations.
- Address complex operational issues proactively and advise the Country Manager regarding necessary enhancements.
- Function as the main liaison with the landlord and vendors, ensuring proper facility maintenance and management.
Applicant Requirements
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong dedication to meeting quality compliance and safety standards.
- Ability to operate autonomously and make effective decisions concerning operational procedures.
- Fluency in German along with strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated experience in managing operations, preferably within the pharmaceutical or logistics industries.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is 65,000 to 85,000 EUR annually. Benefits may vary by country and will align with local market standards and legal requirements, including accommodations for disabilities during the recruitment process.
