Role Overview

As a full-time, on-site Software Engineer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software that supports AI strategies, data handling, and automation services. This role entails developing back-end features and APIs, ensuring clean and sustainable code, troubleshooting and enhancing existing systems, and connecting software components with AI and data platforms. Collaboration with consultants and data specialists to translate business requirements into technical implementations is critical, alongside participating in code reviews and producing technical documentation. The engineer will contribute to improving development processes, assuring software security and quality, and assisting with product updates.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong grounding in Computer Science fundamentals like algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
• Experience in developing production-grade software applications.
• Proficiency in back-end web development, including working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Sound knowledge and application of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline or practical experience.
• Competency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript with associated development environments.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, version control systems like Git, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, communicating technical ideas clearly.
• Interest or experience in AI technologies, data engineering, or automation solutions is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented mindset, and eagerness to continuously update technical skills.
