Soft Skills Faculty

Overview

The Soft Skills Faculty is entrusted with creating, designing, and delivering training programs to enhance interpersonal, communication, and professional skills among students and employees. The aim is to boost personal growth and employability through engaging workshops, role playing, and experiential learning aligned with the institution's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sessions covering communication, presentation, personality development, workplace etiquette, time management, and teamwork skills.
• Create and implement customized training materials, modules, and interactive activities tailored to various learner groups.
• Assess trainee performance and offer constructive feedback to enable ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with different departments to determine training necessities and develop suitable content.
• Manage training schedules and keep accurate records of attendance and performance.
• Assist with pre-placement training and initiatives encouraging professional growth of students.
• Work alongside academic and HR teams to align training objectives with institutional goals.
• Conduct interactive sessions designed to foster self-confidence, articulate communication, and professional grooming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English from Jadavpur University, University of Calcutta, or an equivalent accredited institution.
• Additional certification in Communicative English or related areas is advantageous.
• Preferred experience range of 3 to 5 years in soft skills or communication training within academic or corporate sectors.

• Fluency in both spoken and written English.
• Strong facilitation and presentation capabilities with an ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
• Expert knowledge of interpersonal communication, conflict management, and professional decorum.
• Skill in evaluating learner requirements and adjusting training delivery accordingly.

• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
