Social Media Trainee

Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Trainee to enhance SMART Technology Solutions' engagement across various social media platforms. This position involves assisting with content creation, scheduling, community interaction, performance tracking, and supporting digital marketing campaigns. It is ideal for individuals familiar with social media who want hands-on experience in digital marketing and community management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
• Schedule and post content on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok.
• Create and tailor captions for different platforms.
• Collaborate with creators and designers to produce campaign materials.
• Observe and respond to comments, messages, mentions, and reviews.
• Engage followers according to the company's communication protocols.
• Assist with social media support during events, campaigns, and announcements.
• Keep up with trends, competitor strategies, and platform changes.
• Assist paid campaigns by conducting audience analysis and monitoring results.
• Generate reports detailing reach, engagement, follower growth, clicks, leads, and conversions.
• Provide recommendations to enhance content performance.
• Ensure consistent brand voice and communication standards across all content.

Qualifications and Skills

• Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Media, or related disciplines.
• Proficient understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok platforms.
• Familiar with content calendars, community engagement, and social media analytics.
• Ability to write clear and effective captions in both Arabic and English.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Organized and capable of meeting publishing deadlines.
• Basic skills in design tools like Canva and social media scheduling platforms such as Meta Business Suite.
• Interest in digital marketing, emerging technology, and managing online communities.
• Adept at analyzing data to detect patterns in content performance.

Preferred Experience

• Prior internship, academic projects, or personal initiatives related to social media.
• Experience creating video content such as Reels, TikTok clips, or event coverage.
• Basic understanding of paid social media advertising strategies.
• Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics.
• Skills in photography or mobile videography.
• Availability of a portfolio or examples showcasing social media work.
