Job Overview

The Service Desk Analyst position offers contract work until the end of December, with remuneration of $28 per hour. The role is based in Wellington CBD and involves remote working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and resolving incoming support tickets through phone, email, and remote assistance tools.
• Delivering support for Microsoft 365 suite, Windows-based devices, and managing user accounts.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, access, and connectivity problems.
• Handling Active Directory tasks like user administration, password resets, and account provisioning.
• Escalating complex technical issues to senior IT teams appropriately.
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of knowledge base documentation and promoting continuous enhancements of service delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience or familiarity with Service Desk roles.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities related to Microsoft technologies and end-user hardware.
• Proficient in supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, user management protocols, and ticketing software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently handle multiple support requests simultaneously.
• A proactive attitude eager for ongoing learning and technical skill development.
