Job Overview
YO AI Labs is looking for a dedicated Senior Software Engineer to join a remote team in developing next-generation AI technologies. The role emphasizes enhancing AI training by providing expert engineering input, impacting model learning and reasoning capabilities. Prior AI experience is not necessary; domain expertise and strong programming skills are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software components primarily using Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
- Work on debugging complex issues to deliver robust and sustainable software solutions.
- Engage in feature development and refactoring codebases to improve overall quality.
- Optimize software for scalability and high performance.
- Collaborate effectively within cross-functional, remote teams to meet project goals.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency with at least one of Python3, Java, Rust, or TypeScript; additional skills in C++ or Go are valuable.
- Strong understanding of core computer science concepts such as algorithms and data structures.
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot challenging software problems.
- Experience in writing maintainable and clean code, including refactoring techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Successful involvement in collaborative team environments, preferably remote.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large, distributed codebases.
- Exposure to AI or machine learning systems.
- Participation in comprehensive code reviews and fostering software development best practices.
