Role Overview
This opportunity is for a Digital SAP BASIS - HANA specialist based in Hyderabad. The position calls for someone with 6+ years of experience in administering and supporting SAP landscapes and HANA environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the administration, monitoring, and upkeep of SAP systems such as ECC, BW, CRM, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and S/4HANA.
- Carry out SAP installations, version upgrades, system refreshes, kernel upgrades, and regular patching tasks.
- Handle SAP HANA database administration, including backups, recovery, replication, and performance optimization.
- Run system copies, client copies, and environment refreshes across different SAP landscapes.
- Track system stability, performance, and uptime to support uninterrupted business operations.
- Apply SAP security best practices, manage certificates, and ensure compliance-related requirements are met.
- Oversee transport administration and coordinate release movements across the landscape.
- Diagnose and fix SAP Basis and HANA issues raised through incidents and service requests.
- Assist with migrations to S/4HANA and cloud-based platforms.
- Work closely with functional, development, infrastructure, and security stakeholders.
