Role Responsibilities

• Manage and take responsibility for the enterprise network and security infrastructure of the organization.
• Plan, execute, validate, and document network changes ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Administer FortiGate Firewalls, including HA clusters, security policies, NAT, IPS, SSL inspection, web filtering, application control, and the security fabric.
• Design, configure, and resolve issues in Fortinet SD-WAN environments, handling complex routing setups, performance SLAs, traffic steering, policy-based routing, ISP failover, and multi-ISP configurations.
• Deploy and maintain IPsec Site-to-Site VPNs, SSL VPNs, remote access VPNs, and manage FortiClient EMS.
• Configure and operate Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches along with enterprise wireless infrastructure including Cisco controllers and access points.
• Troubleshoot Layer 3 network connectivity across LAN, WAN, Internet, and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Perform advanced packet analysis using tools such as Wireshark, FortiGate Debug Flow, packet captures, and protocol analysis to diagnose network and application issues.
• Support enterprise VoIP and Microsoft 365 telephony systems focusing on SIP, RTP, QoS, DSCP, call routing, latency, jitter, packet loss, and voice quality.
• Resolve routing, NAT, DNS, DHCP, MTU, and application connectivity challenges across enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with cloud and application teams to provide network, firewall, DNS, VPN, load balancing, and connectivity support for deployments and production systems.
• Monitor network health, capacity, availability, and performance using FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, SNMP, Syslog, and other network monitoring tools.
• Lead incident resolution, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), manage problems, and implement continuous improvements to infrastructure.
• Coordinate with ISPs, telecom companies, cloud providers, and internal teams to address network and security issues.
• Perform firmware updates, security enhancements, disaster recovery tests, lifecycle maintenance, and network optimization projects.
• Maintain precise network documentation including HLD/LLD diagrams, standard operating procedures, configuration backups, and asset inventories.

Certifications Required

• Fortinet NSE 4 Certification
• CCNP Enterprise or Security Certification
