Senior MEP Site Supervisor - Infrastructure Projects

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior MEP Site Supervisor to join our team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in overseeing MEP infrastructure projects, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing tasks align with project specifications, international standards, and client needs. This role is pivotal in driving top-quality infrastructure delivery while upholding safety, quality, and timeline targets.

Role Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site execution of MEP infrastructure, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, technical specs, and quality benchmarks.
• Monitor daily site operations and collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other project participants.
• Assess and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and technical documentation ahead of construction activities.
• Carry out regular site inspections to confirm workmanship compliance with specifications, codes, and international standards.
• Track progress, identify delays, and propose corrective measures to keep project timelines on track.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, and utility teams for smooth integration of MEP infrastructure.
• Supervise proper installation of water supply, sewerage, stormwater drainage, irrigation, firefighting, electrical distribution, street lighting, telecommunications, and utility networks.
• Inspect completed work, develop snag and punch lists, and verify corrections are promptly addressed.
• Attend progress, technical coordination, and client meetings providing technical support and project updates.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements throughout construction.
• Manage testing, commissioning, inspections, and final approvals of MEP infrastructure systems.
• Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports including site inspections and progress documentation.
• Assist the Project Manager and Resident Engineer to ensure successful project delivery aligned to quality, safety, and contract terms.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering field.
• At least 12 years of experience in MEP infrastructure site supervision.
• Proven background managing infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, water networks, sewerage, stormwater systems, electrical distribution, street lighting, irrigation, and utility corridors.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or mixed-use development projects.
• Strong understanding of international engineering standards, local regulations, and construction best practices.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management/reporting tools.
