About the Role
The Workplaces team oversees the active management of adidas' Global Real Estate Portfolio, including lease administration, property transactions, design, construction, and operational management of offices, showrooms, and distribution centers. This role plays an integral part in driving business growth and optimizing the portfolio to create motivating work environments that attract and retain top talent worldwide. Collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders ensures the delivery of value-added services.
The Senior Manager Workplaces, EMC, is accountable for managing the quality and development of facility operations across adidas locations in Emerging Markets Central (such as UAE, KSA, Egypt, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Jordan). The position establishes robust quality benchmarks for facilities across these regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex tasks requiring advanced operational expertise in workplace management.
- Manage and spearhead facility-related projects across multiple locations, demonstrating autonomous decision-making and analytical skills.
- Deliver consistent, high-quality facility management services aligned with budgets, schedules, and scope while prioritizing employee experience and workplace standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and continuous enhancement of building system procedures, supporting the integrated management system (IMS).
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to integrate various departments and embed organizational change effectively.
- Implement and manage measures to continuously improve workplace experiences, coordinating with service providers and stakeholders.
- Partner with the EM Workplaces Leadership Team to establish and adhere to regional KPIs and SLAs concerning facility and employee experience operations.
- Prepare and manage annual operating budgets in collaboration with financial controllers, ensuring accurate forecasts and highlighting risks or opportunities.
- Identify cost-efficiency opportunities, ensure proper invoicing from vendors, and maintain accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
- Collaborate to develop and implement processes concerning employee relocations and workplace changes in line with business needs.
- Drive workplace initiatives that promote employee engagement, connection to adidas, and performance.
- Coordinate with global security leadership to enforce site security standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to minimize risks and maintain proper reporting.
- Manage team members, participate in performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
- Lead diverse, multi-national teams, encouraging learning, accountability, and continuous improvement while managing priorities and expectations.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in facility management or a related discipline, or equivalent training and experience.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in facility management or a similar domain.
- A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience managing teams or business areas.
