Role overview
An opportunity is open for an experienced Senior Lawyer based in Doha, Qatar. This is a permanent, full-time position for a candidate already in Qatar with a valid QID. Preference will be given to professionals who can start immediately, or at short notice, and who are comfortable working in both English and Arabic.
Requirements
- You should bring 8 to 10 years of professional legal experience.
- As an alternate profile, candidates with at least 5 years of legal experience in Qatar plus 4 years of legal experience in another GCC country may also be considered.
- A solid understanding of Qatari legal regulations and court processes is essential.
- You must have handled civil, commercial, and criminal matters in previous roles.
- Advanced legal drafting ability is expected.
- Experience in supervising and guiding a team of lawyers is strongly preferred.
- Priority will be given to applicants licensed, or eligible to be licensed, to appear before Qatari courts.
- Applicants who can join right away or within a short notice period are preferred.
- Only candidates currently in Qatar with a valid QID will be considered.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
