About the role
An urgent opening is available for a Senior/Lead HR Recruiter in Kolkata for a BPO environment. The position focuses on managing recruitment activities end to end, from identifying suitable candidates to completing onboarding for selected hires.
Experience and education
The role requires 3 to 9 years of experience in the BPO industry. A graduation degree is needed; the preferred educational qualification is a bachelor’s degree. Any graduate can apply if they meet the experience and skill expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for open positions and schedule interviews with shortlisted applicants.
- Handle candidate screening through phone calls or face-to-face interviews.
- Evaluate profiles, interview outcomes, and resumes to decide whether candidates should move ahead or be rejected.
- Coordinate with different teams to complete every round of the interview process.
- Manage the full onboarding journey for selected candidates.
- Work with manpower consultants, develop tie-ups, and keep regular coordination as needed.
- Use job portals actively and manage job postings.
- Meet weekly targets for calls and emails.
Required qualifications and profile
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with candidates and internal teams.
- Good organizational ability and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office tools.
- Energetic, driven, and able to work with a high level of commitment.
- Capability to deliver tasks and hiring requirements within defined timelines.
- Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience in the BPO sector is preferred.
- Experience in end-to-end recruitment, bulk hiring, mass hiring, sourcing, screening, onboarding, documentation, joining formalities, and headhunting.
