Role Overview
Arlo Hotels, an independent lifestyle hospitality brand, is hiring a Senior Graphic Designer to help shape and extend the Arlo visual identity. The role partners closely with the Vice President of Brand and works with cross-functional teams to translate the brand story into engaging visuals, animations, and design systems. The successful candidate will balance fresh creative thinking with the need to keep all output aligned to Arlo’s established look and feel.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a broad mix of design deliverables, including typography-led layouts, illustrations, infographics, brand materials, and digital and print assets that follow Arlo’s style guide.
- Maintain a consistent visual standard across omni-channel touchpoints such as web, social media, email, print, and out-of-home placements.
- Develop motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for digital advertisements, social content, video, and web experiences.
- Support the Vice President of Brand in converting brand strategy into clear, visually strong creative work.
- Work closely with marketing colleagues and hotel teams to produce requested artwork, design pieces, and animation assets.
- Collect the necessary background information to ensure all final outputs are accurate and reflect the intended message.
- Handle several projects at once, set realistic delivery schedules, and keep stakeholders updated on progress.
- Keep up with new developments in motion design and 3D graphics.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong emphasis on motion graphics and animation.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of 3D software such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya.
- A portfolio that shows capability in design, typography, illustration, visual composition, and motion work.
- Solid understanding of how to work within brand guidelines and maintain consistency.
- Ability to work quickly, professionally, collaboratively, and meet deadlines reliably.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Fast learner with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation
The salary for this role is listed at USD 85,000 to 95,000 per year.
