Senior Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and develop efficient, innovative software solutions seamlessly integrating with our existing IT structure. The goal is to promote business expansion and improve risk management by automating processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders, risk and finance managers, system architects, business analysts, project leads, and other IT teams to create scalable applications, systems, interfaces, and tools from the ground up, driving business growth through automation and optimization.
• Develop and support software solutions that integrate fully with both third-party and in-house platforms in alignment with the company's IT design framework.
• Offer prompt technical assistance for in-house trading applications to ensure operational continuity.
• Work alongside internal developers and architects to collect requirements, draft technical designs, build automated tests, and adhere to coding standards for scalable and maintainable IT deliveries.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and tools; conduct proof-of-concepts; document and disseminate best practices to strengthen the company's competitive position.
• Implement security best practices by following established policies and procedures to safeguard the trading systems, managing associated vulnerabilities and threats throughout the software lifecycle.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Over 8 years of hands-on experience in designing and delivering multitier software solutions using C#, Angular JS, and .NET technologies within commodity trading, banking, or hedge fund settings.
• At least 3 years of experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining Azure-based systems, skilled in Azure services such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Strong backend API development expertise using C#.
• Deep understanding of RESTful and GraphQL web services.
• Proven frontend development skills in single-page applications using Angular.
• Experience in DevOps practices using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code utilising Bicep or Terraform.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and data platforms such as Microsoft Azure Data Factory and Data Bricks, including building reporting capabilities.
• Proficient in writing optimized SQL queries and database schema design.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and preferably microfrontend design.
• Knowledge of straight-through-processing (STP) requirements, FIX protocol, and experience with CTRM/ETRM systems are advantageous.
• Ability to lead full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies — from requirement gathering, prototyping and design to testing and ongoing maintenance.
• Python programming skills are a plus.
