About the Role
SBS Transit Ltd invites applications for the position of Senior Executive / Executive in Governance, stationed in Singapore, working onsite within the transportation and logistics sector. The role focuses on enhancing rail safety, security, and emergency response processes across all SBS Transit rail lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and regular review of Rail Safety, Security, and Emergency Planning General Procedures for all SBS Transit rail services.
- Assist in the design and execution of safety and security programs specific to the rail operations.
- Manage and update the safety data repository, maintaining accurate safety statistics.
- Provide data analysis and consolidation for reporting purposes across various platforms and forums.
- Deliver relevant safety training to staff.
- Assist in auditing and emergency planning functions within the Rail Governance, Audit & Emergency Planning (RGAEP) department.
- Formulate and maintain safety protocols applicable to both rail and bus services under SBS Transit.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a recognized diploma or degree in any discipline or approval from the Ministry of Manpower to serve as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer.
- At least one year of relevant experience in safety management or railway operations.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, including negotiation and communication skills.
- Understanding of rail systems is advantageous.
- Competency in drafting procedures, instructions, and reports.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
