About the Role and Team

Joining the transformation and technology team within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), you will lead and successfully deliver strategic projects across the business. This position requires applying expert project management techniques within cross-functional teams to bring to fruition technology and business change initiatives. Additionally, you'll contribute to advancing the organization's project management maturity.

Key Responsibilities

• Decompose complex projects into manageable work packages that promote efficiency and successful delivery.
• Utilize appropriate project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall to ensure project success.
• Drive implementation of multifaceted strategic projects combining technology and business change elements.
• Deliver projects according to defined success criteria such as timing, budget constraints, quality standards, and project scope.
• Prepare comprehensive project plans including schedules, budgets, risk management logs, and regular reporting.
• Proactively oversee risks, issues, dependencies, and essential project decisions, escalating as necessary.
• Maintain strong engagement with sponsors and stakeholders throughout the project lifespan.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers to align delivery with project timelines, communication needs, and commercial terms.
• Lead and adapt leadership styles to guide cross-functional project teams towards exceptional results.
• Mentor and coach team members in project management methodologies and tools.
• Contribute actively to ongoing enhancements and maturity of project management frameworks within the EPMO.

Candidate Profile

• At least five years of effective project management experience within technology or business change environments.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills in delivering new products, channels, concepts, and technologies.
• Experience collaborating across multiple business divisions.
• Strong focus on achieving goals and driving project initiatives forward.
• Capability to mentor colleagues in project management practices.
• Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint for project management and team collaboration.

Additional Details

As the Senior Delivery Manager, you will design, orchestrate, and lead project implementations ensuring adherence to timeframes, budgets, quality benchmarks, and scope commitments. The role heavily emphasizes proactive application of project management discipline, stakeholder and supplier relationship management, and leadership of diverse project teams. You will also play a vital role in enhancing project management maturity within the EPMO through continuous improvements.

This full-time position operates primarily from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The working model is hybrid: based at the Corporate HQ located in Newmarket with the flexibility to work remotely from home on occasion.
