Position Overview
The Senior Costing Advisor is entrusted with the creation of precise and reliable cost estimations related to revenue streams, commercial contracts, projects, and significant policy initiatives. This role also includes conducting thorough reviews after cost implementation to compare estimates with actual expenditures.
Role Responsibilities
The advisor ensures all costing activities adhere strictly to governmental policies, notably requiring an in-depth understanding of the Australian Government Charging Framework (AGCF) and the Budget Process Operating Rules (BPORs). The position demands excellent analytical capabilities, effective communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. Given the nature of the duties, the Senior Costing Advisor must work independently while maintaining productivity under stringent timelines.
