Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst will lead business analysis activities on medium to large-scale projects, showcasing advanced capabilities and guiding peers. This role handles full lifecycle requirements delivery including planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, management, and support for changes impacting business units and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify all affected and influencing groups and define their responsibility for requirements.
  • Create detailed plans and precise estimates for requirements completion, aiming to improve accuracy and detail over time.
  • Manage and communicate risks, assumptions, and constraints related to requirements to relevant parties.
  • Establish business analysis approach customized to the project and delivery method, outlining tasks and deliverables.
  • Lead prioritization of requirements using techniques to clarify business needs.
  • Facilitate collaborative sessions with varied stakeholder groups to elicit, analyze, and review requirements.
  • Use advanced elicitation techniques suitable for diverse stakeholder audiences.
  • Analyze and document business solution scope following enterprise requirements methodologies.
  • Detail business and system requirements as per enterprise standards.
  • Ensure quality and validate requirements with impacted stakeholders.
  • Maintain a reusable repository of requirements documentation adhering to enterprise norms.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Progressive experience as a Business Analyst handling requirements management on complex, large projects.
  • Proficient with multiple project delivery methodologies including Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile.
  • Experience with requirements planning, prioritization, stakeholder analysis, and effort estimation.
  • Skilled in elicitation methods including document analysis, interviews, workshops, observation, prototyping, focus groups, and surveys.
  • Competence in managing and communicating requirements through walkthroughs, scope and change management, traceability, configuration, and backlog management.
  • Relevant academic background in Business Analysis from college, university, or postgraduate studies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification as a Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBA.
  • Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis is advantageous.
