About the Role
We are inviting an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Employee Technology Solutions & Support team within the Employee Digital Experience department at a prominent financial institution in Toronto. This role is a 12-month contract focusing on enhancing the technology support experience by driving innovation and fostering impactful organizational change across the bank's workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate collaborative workshops with business and technical teams to define and analyze requirements for system changes, process improvements, and project delivery initiatives, emphasizing excellent customer experience.
- Produce detailed project documentation including business and technical requirements, gap analyses, scope matrices, use cases, sequence diagrams, future-state recommendations, and plans for user acceptance testing.
- Partner closely with development teams during implementation to ensure alignment with requirements, manage defects, prioritize workloads, and oversee QA testing to verify proper coverage of user stories.
- Provide training and ongoing change management assistance before and following deployment of services, products, or process changes.
- Contribute to fostering a high-performance and inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with operational controls, risk management, and regulatory standards including AML/ATF and conduct risk, adhering to the bank's values and code of conduct.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least three years of experience as a business analyst or in a related systems analyst capacity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities and collaborating with diverse stakeholders under tight deadlines.
- Solid understanding of contemporary technology practices, system development lifecycles including Agile and Waterfall methodologies, requirements gathering, and testing strategies.
- Experience with or exposure to the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong multitasking capabilities to deliver on several concurrent projects.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive attitude with eagerness to learn new technologies and tools to drive strategic objectives.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, computer science, or related field.
- Certification in ITIL or an equivalent framework.
- Experience supporting global or multinational business units.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish languages is required.
