Role Overview
The Senior Analyst in Project Management will report directly to the Leader of Agile Practice and contribute to planning, executing, and evaluating projects within the portfolio. This role supports project activities such as financial oversight, project management coordination, and monthly status reporting. Working in partnership with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, the role is suited to dynamic, fast-paced environments requiring collaborative problem-solving and detailed analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers to consistently implement Interac’s project management methodology across various projects, ensuring alignment with delivery and portfolio standards.
- Identify and support mitigation efforts for risks and issues, maintaining Risk, Issue, Action Item, and Decision (RAID) Logs accurately.
- Take ownership of project health reporting, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Analyze staffing and resource allocation, developing recommendations and refining forecasting models in consultation with leadership.
- Manage project and program schedules via project management tools, updating work breakdown structures and maintaining linkage across related schedules.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project documentation including plans, milestones, status reports, and meeting records.
- Provide direct support to Project Managers in analysis and reporting, gathering comprehensive project status and performance information.
- Synthesize and present project data across multiple dimensions such as achievements, risks, financials, timelines, and action items to diverse organizational audiences.
- Participate in portfolio review sessions to facilitate information exchange among project teams and stakeholders.
- Administrate and support project requests and ongoing updates in work management software including Jira, Planview, and Confluence.
- Maintain the EPMO knowledge repository with relevant templates and communications.
- Organize data effectively to identify resource bottlenecks and over-allocations.
- Collect project progress metrics and consolidate them into executive dashboards for portfolio-wide performance assessment.
- Coordinate gate timelines and deliverable planning alongside Project Managers, and verify quality of deliverables with responsible owners.
- Promote a collaborative team environment, soliciting feedback to identify improvement opportunities and facilitating implementation of solutions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least three years’ experience in a comparable role within an Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), utilizing PMI and Agile methodologies.
- Eligibility to work full-time in Canada for Interac Corp.
- Proficiency in project management processes and methodology, including organization and summarization of project data and documents.
- Experience managing project artifacts repositories, encompassing documentation, status updates, meeting minutes, and follow-up procedures.
- Comprehensive understanding of project lifecycle phases, including planning, execution, and control.
- Advanced expertise with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Planview.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, advanced Excel, and Word.
- Excellent skills in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Self-driven with capability to work independently without supervision.
- Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills suitable for interacting at all organizational levels.

Compensation and Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is CAD 75,000 to CAD 85,000 annually, coupled with eligibility for a short-term incentive plan. Additional benefits include:
