About the role
Marina Bay Sands is looking for a seamstress to join its diverse and inclusive team in Singapore. The position focuses on keeping employee uniforms in proper condition through repair, adjustment, and inspection work.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out mending and sewing tasks for staff uniforms.
- Make alterations to uniforms whenever required.
- Check uniforms to ensure they remain in good condition.
- Handle any additional duties assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- No formal schooling is needed for this role.
- Previous work as a seamstress will be considered an advantage.
- You should be able to carry out sewing and alteration tasks well, including hemming, repairing tears, replacing zippers, and fastening buttons.
- Comfort with using sewing equipment is required.
- Strong organization and attention to detail are important.
- A hardworking, adaptable, and coachable attitude is expected.
- All tasks must be completed promptly and efficiently while following company policies and procedures.
