Scrum Master

Overview

Digisourced is looking for a contract Scrum Master to support a client delivering an international programme in Germany. The assignment is focused on strengthening agile delivery, improving team coordination, and helping development teams work more effectively within Scrum and SAFe environments.

What you will do

• Advise teams and stakeholders on adopting and tailoring agile practices, especially Scrum, and translate that into practical implementation guidance.
• Support the setup and refinement of communication and coordination flows, with particular attention to scaling agile ways of working through SAFe.
• Prepare and document proposals that improve agile methods, routines, and delivery processes.
• Run agile reviews to assess how well agile principles are being applied and convert findings into actionable recommendations.
• Help remove blockers and provide guidance on issue resolution and escalation paths so teams can stay productive.
• Support Product Backlog organization, prioritization, and quality assurance by offering examples and best-practice recommendations.
• Plan and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on agile framework methods and working practices.
• Identify areas where agile practices can be strengthened and turn those insights into concrete improvement actions.
• Assess risks and challenges within agile process structures and recommend steps to reduce or avoid them.
• Advise on the preparation and execution of SAFe events such as Inspect & Adapt workshops, PI Planning, System Demo, and ART Sync.
• Work closely with the Release Train Engineer to review and improve process flow and value streams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Team Coach applying Scrum in IT development teams.
• Background in software development teams with responsibility across the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements analysis through deployment, including CI/CD and DevOps-based delivery processes.
• Practical experience designing or improving Jira structures to better support agile delivery.
• Experience working with SAFe within an Agile Release Train.
• Scrum Master certification plus SAFe framework certification, such as PSM I/II, CSM, SSM, SASM, or SA.
