Position Purpose

As a Scaffolder, you will join the Subsea Department within the Qatar Project, responsible for carrying out scaffolding erection tasks according to Foreman's directions and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scaffolding assembly activities complying with safety and quality standards.
• Follow daily instructions from the Foreman.
• Inspect equipment and materials to confirm they are safe and in good working condition, reporting any irregularities to the Foreman.
• Coordinate with adjacent work areas to minimize conflicts and maintain safety.
• Adhere to permit-to-work protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work site.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: ITI/Technical Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: At least 3 years as a scaffolder, with expertise in operating pipeline pre-commissioning equipment onshore or offshore.
• Language: Proficient communication skills in English.
• Technical knowledge including hands-on experience with centrifugal pumps (e.g., Caprari 500m³/hr with CAT C27 Acer engine or similar), HP piston pumps (e.g., MIDIS/Woma 550 ARP with CAT C18 Acer or equivalent), diesel generators (e.g., Atlas Copco with Perkins 1104C engine or similar), air compressors (e.g., Atlas Copco XRYS 1260 CD7 or equivalent), and desiccant air dryers (twin-pot with capacity above 1600 scfm).
• Ability to interpret and follow technical guidelines and safety procedures.
• Physically fit to work in onshore site conditions and capable of working well within a team environment.
