Role Overview
The SAP Business Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining supply chain master data within global systems like SAP ECC/S/4, IBP, and rfXcel. This role ensures timely updates as per implementation reports, standalone requests, or data quality demands, preserving data integrity according to Astellas’ standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain master data management models and apply appropriate tools and techniques to uphold quality standards.
- Comprehend complex supply chain workflows and their interaction with master data, executing detailed material setup and modifications.
- Stay informed on advancements in master data management, integrating new knowledge into day-to-day activities.
- Participate actively in projects related to supply chain master data.
- Employ practical understanding of operational master data processes within ERP systems, particularly SAP, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Collaborate effectively within team settings, contributing expertise to enhance overall team output.
- Help develop knowledge and data management practices in the supply chain master data area.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications including Word, Excel, Visio, and Access.
- Experience working with SAP S/4 or other ERP systems, as well as Integrated Business Planning (IBP) systems.
- Familiarity with the RfXcel system for data and supply chain management.
Work Environment
This opportunity is based entirely onsite at the Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland location, requiring full-time presence.
