Overview
This role is positioned within Satair's SAP Application Management & Support team, dedicated to providing onsite assistance for warehouse operations across Asia. The primary focus is on the implementation and ongoing support of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) and automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), including AutoStore technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for inbound and outbound logistics processes, warehouse monitoring, and resource management using SAP EWM.
- Lead SAP EWM-related projects incorporating AutoStore systems, coordinating with IT teams and Application Management Services (AMS) partners.
- Act as the primary contact for local business user needs, translating their requirements into functional SAP EWM solutions.
- Collaborate with SAP SMEs and regional teams to ensure effective issue resolution and alignment between business needs and SAP capabilities.
- Conduct instructional sessions and workshops to facilitate smooth uptake of SAP EWM among trainers and end-users.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations to enhance logistics solutions.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management to support operations and business goals.
Expected Outcomes
- Ensure IT enables warehouse operational, tactical, and strategic processes through SAP EWM.
- Support customer service processes by implementing SAP EWM in coordination with stakeholders.
- Enhance business continuity through dependable IT support of SAP EWM and ASRS, including AutoStore.
- Deliver effective training programs for trainers and end-users to promote SAP EWM adoption.
- Analyze market trends and communicate insights through reports to management.
- Contribute actively as a member of the global SAP team.

- Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree in engineering, science, or related field preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP EWM, ideally supported by formal certification.
- Solid understanding of other SAP modules within SAP S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with AutoStore or comparable warehouse automation technologies.
- Proven track record in managing change initiatives and smaller projects.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
