Job Overview
This role is focused on expanding our reach in domestic, commercial, and agricultural solar PV markets across County Cork, County Kerry, and nearby counties. The Sales Manager will actively engage with customers, conduct site surveys, design solar PV and battery storage systems, and drive sales growth with support from the internal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new sales leads including cold calling potential customers
- Visit customer sites to assess property suitability and gather information to tailor solar solutions
- Develop, implement, and refine a sales and marketing plan with monthly sales targets
- Understand relevant SEAI and ESB guidelines related to solar energy installations
- Provide customers with detailed technical information about our solar products
- Maintain communication with sales, operations, and marketing teams for smooth coordination
- Follow up with leads to increase customer conversion and satisfaction
- Regularly attend meetings and receive ongoing training to enhance selling and technical skills
- Travel frequently to customer locations—estimated up to 75% travel
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience with at least 1 year in door-to-door sales preferred
- Proficiency with CRM systems to manage sales processes effectively
- Full, valid driving license is required
- Fluent English communication skills are preferred
