Room Attendant (Housekeeping)

About the Role

As a Room Attendant at Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange, GA, you play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming, clean, and orderly environment for our guests. Your duties focus on housekeeping tasks that enhance guests' experiences by ensuring their surroundings are spotless and well-organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms and common areas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing supplies, and cleaning windows, mirrors, and patios.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions while keeping familiar with safety data sheets.
• Keep housekeeping supply carts fully stocked, neat, and ready for use.
• Identify and report maintenance issues promptly through the proper channels.
• Secure and document lost and found items appropriately.
• Engage with guests professionally and courteously to enhance their stay.
• Refill housekeeping carts at the end of each shift to ensure readiness for the next day.
• Support the House Attendant by delivering guest requests and collecting used items.
• Conserve energy by closing draperies and adjusting HVAC settings in unoccupied rooms.
• Report any hazardous conditions or equipment concerns to supervisors for safety.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to follow a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.

Preferred Attributes

• Previous housekeeping experience such as sanitation, laundry, or guest service roles.
• Strong customer service and communication capabilities.
• General cleaning experience is an advantage.

Physical Requirements

• Capable of lifting items up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable pushing or pulling weights up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and remain standing for extended durations.
• Safe handling of chemicals in accordance with instructions.

Compensation and Benefits
