Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Retail Team Member to join the Twelve Apostles Visitor Precinct team. This full-time position involves providing excellent visitor service, supporting retail operations, and upholding high standards of presentation in a dynamic, visitor-centered setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to domestic and international visitors.
• Offer product recommendations and accurate information to aid customers' purchases.
• Manage retail transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges accurately through point-of-sale systems.
• Promote highlighted and seasonal products to enhance sales opportunities.
• Handle receipt, replenishment, and stock maintenance, assisting with stocktaking and inventory tasks.
• Maintain exceptional visual merchandising, display quality, and cleanliness within the retail environment.
• Provide inclusive and accessible support to visitors with diverse needs.
• Follow all operational, health and safety, and emergency procedures to ensure a secure workplace.
• Address visitor inquiries professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Foster a team culture focused on service quality and ongoing improvement.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in retail, tourism, or customer service roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive mindset with flexibility and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a busy visitor context.
• Strong skills in retail presentation and visual merchandising.
• Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
• Consistent dedication to exceptional customer service.
• Awareness and adherence to workplace health and safety regulations.
• Hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence and meet pre-employment checks including National Police and Working with Children Clearances.

Additional Information

Applications are accepted until 10 August 2026, 11:59 PM. The position offers a salary package ranging between $67,111 and $73,605 plus superannuation. The role is based full-time onsite at the Twelve Apostles Visitor Precinct in Port Campbell, Victoria.
