Role Overview
The Retail Staff position at Sowparnika Retail involves delivering outstanding customer service, upholding store standards, managing billing activities, and ensuring the consistent availability of products. This role plays a vital part in assisting customers throughout their shopping experience and enhancing customer satisfaction at The Organic World.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and support customers courteously and professionally.
- Help customers find items and provide general product details.
- Keep shelves well-stocked, orderly, and visually attractive.
- Regularly check product quality and remove expired or damaged merchandise.
- Execute billing and cash transactions precisely using POS systems.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the store environment.
- Contribute to inventory inspections, receiving new stock, and replenishing items.
- Assist with promotional events and in-store marketing efforts.
- Address routine customer questions and escalate issues as necessary.
- Adhere to company policies, operational guidelines, and safety protocols.
Candidate Requirements
- Completion of 10th or 12th standard or an equivalent qualification.
- Between six months and one year of experience in retail, supermarkets, grocery stores, or customer service positions.
- Basic knowledge of billing procedures and cash management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.
