Job Summary
- Review prescriptions to verify correct dosages.
- Dispense medications as prescribed to customers or healthcare professionals, providing guidance on indications, contraindications, possible side effects, drug interactions, and administration instructions.
- Maintain detailed medication profiles for customers, including managing registers for poisons, narcotics, and controlled substances.
- Handle ordering and inventory management of pharmaceutical products.
- Provide advice to customers on appropriate non-prescription drugs.
- Renew existing prescriptions within certain limitations.
