Restaurant Delivery and Dispatch Coordinator (IT Background)

Role Overview

Salad Boss Plus seeks a proactive, energetic, and technically adept Logistics and Delivery Coordinator to spearhead their food delivery operations. This full-time position, based in Adenta, Accra, demands a highly organized professional capable of thriving in a fast-moving environment with expertise in IT to optimize and resolve issues within digital dispatch platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage order dispatch and maintain quality control by collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure prompt packaging and delivery readiness.
• Confirm the accuracy of each order package against invoices, including all sides, dressings, and utensils.
• Oversee internal delivery riders and work with external partners, planning efficient routes to expedite delivery times.
• Administer multiple delivery dashboards and hardware, ensuring smooth POS system integration with delivery services.
• Provide frontline IT troubleshooting during operations, resolving connectivity problems, software glitches, hardware issues like receipt printer failures, and tablet malfunctions promptly.
• Monitor riders in real-time, address and resolve customer inquiries relating to delivery, and manage navigation challenges effectively.
• Collaborate with the cashier to reconcile payments received via cash or mobile money from delivery personnel at shift endings.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess an HND or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a similar discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in restaurant dispatch, fast-food delivery oversight, or e-commerce logistics management.
• Strong technical proficiency with restaurant POS solutions, third-party delivery dashboards, and basic network and hardware troubleshooting.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel for tracking and performance reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of local delivery zones such as Adenta and major routes in Accra, including understanding traffic patterns and shortcuts.
• Exhibit excellent organizational aptitude and the capability to maintain composure and sharp decision-making during busy operation periods.
• Show leadership qualities to efficiently direct a team of field-based delivery riders.
