Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Resident Security Engineer to join our team onsite in Doha, Qatar. This long-term role focuses on providing daily operational support for a comprehensive Fortinet security infrastructure in a multi-site enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves managing incident response, troubleshooting issues, assisting with configurations, overseeing change management processes, and coordinating with vendor Technical Assistance Centers (TAC). The security environment encompasses Fortinet Next Generation Firewall (NGFW), Web Application Firewall (WAF), Sandbox, Application Delivery Controller (ADC), and centralized management and analytics tools, all integrated within a multi-site SD-WAN network fabric.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in operational support for large-scale, multi-location enterprise network ecosystems
- Hands-on proficiency with the Fortinet product suite, including FortiGate NGFW, FortiWeb, FortiSandbox, FortiADC, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer
- Expertise in SD-WAN operations, incident handling, and strict compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Current Fortinet certification at professional or specialist tiers (such as FCP or FCSS)
- Additional certifications or verifiable practical experience in Cisco CCNA or CCNP, Forescout FCSA, Microsoft Azure Administrator, and Zscaler ZDTA
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
