Job description
About the Company
We are a globally recognized cryptocurrency exchange with a substantial operational history, servicing users across major international markets. Our partnerships team operates close to the core commercial functions, emphasizing ownership, agility, and straightforward communication in a remote-first work environment.
Role Overview
The Global Partnerships division covers three key areas: asset listings, traditional finance (TradFi), and Web3 products including decentralized exchanges (DEX), wallets, and blockchain infrastructure. Given the rapid expansion of opportunity beyond our current research capacity, this role is dedicated to conducting thorough analyses for each potential partnership. Responsibilities include market mapping, scenario stress-testing, and translating complex and fragmented market data into clear, actionable recommendations. This position focuses broadly on Web3 research rather than solely listings.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor market developments and identify compelling partnership prospects across listings, TradFi, and Web3 domains.
- Analyze competitor partnership strategies to determine when to align, differentiate, or intensify efforts.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential partners, including assessments of their business model, leadership, investors, and reputational risks.
- Dissect comparable partnership agreements to understand commercial structures, including pricing, fees, revenue-sharing, and incentive frameworks.
- Produce concise, practical documentation such as opportunity briefs, diligence summaries, competitor updates, and deal comparisons for both partnership teams and senior leadership.
- Support strategic planning, negotiation preparation, and prioritization of partnership pipelines.
- Establish and maintain organized records of partner profiles, competitor activities, commercial terms, and lessons learned from previous deals.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses approximately five or more years of experience in analytical and commercial roles within fields such as research, strategy, consulting, banking, corporate development, venture capital, fintech, financial services, or digital assets.
- English proficiency at a native level with exceptional written communication skills capable of delivering independent, persuasive recommendations.
- Demonstrates sound judgment by synthesizing complex information into concise, usable outputs rather than mere data collation.
- Proven success in analyzing companies, markets, competitors, or transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver prompt outcomes.
- Preferred but not mandatory: familiarity with exchanges, listings, brokers, pre-IPO transactions, stablecoins, tokenization, decentralized finance (DeFi), wallets, or blockchain infrastructure.
- Preferred but not mandatory: experience reviewing partnership economics or deal structures.
Why Join Us?
This position offers the unique opportunity to influence the partnership decisions of a leading global exchange across diverse sectors like listings, TradFi, and Web3 rather than a narrow specialty. The research outputs directly impact deal teams and senior executives, providing meaningful, fast-paced work adjacent to commercial operations.
