About the Company
Salubris Biotherapeutics is a clinical-stage biotech organization focused on discovering and advancing new biologic treatments for cancer, cardiovascular conditions, and metabolic disorders. The company is building a broad complex-biologics pipeline that includes antibody-drug conjugate and antibody-fusion programs, with an emphasis on scientific rigor and innovation that can improve patient outcomes.
Role Summary
The company is looking for a motivated full-time Research Associate with hands-on experience in SPR, Western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometry, qPCR, and cell-based assays. The position is based onsite in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of next-generation biologic therapies for oncology and cardiovascular/metabolic indications.
- Plan and carry out core biology methods such as SPR, Western blot, ELISA, flow cytometry, qPCR, and cell-based assays to support early-stage antibody discovery and preclinical characterization.
- Generate biologic materials through lipid-based transfection and then purify and evaluate them using FPLC and HPLC to determine composition and quality.
- Investigate and resolve problems related to laboratory instruments and experimental workflows.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Biotechnology or a closely related discipline is required.
- Strong working knowledge of FlowJo, OpenLabs CDS, ImageJ, and GraphPad Prism is expected.
- Candidates must be able to work onsite at the Gaithersburg, MD office.
