About the Role
The Innovation Value Institute (IVI) at Maynooth University invites applications for a Research Assistant Level 2 position. This role supports the University's mission to advance excellent research and education by engaging closely with Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to facilitate digital transformation and innovation.
The successful candidate will contribute technically to the ReThink ReDesign programme, an initiative supported by Enterprise Ireland, which helps SMEs navigate their innovation journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical implementation of diverse research projects in partnership with SMEs.
- Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and innovative systems to assist SMEs in driving innovation.
- Document and capture research insights through reusable frameworks, methodologies, and case studies derived from project outcomes.
Additional Information
The post is governed by the University's statutes and adheres to public sector pay rules. The salary for the Research Assistant Level II position in 2026 is set at 39,061 (point 1).
