Role Overview

This position is for a Hindi digital news researcher and writer based in Lucknow. The person in this role will need a strong instinct for news, the ability to dig into topics thoroughly, and the skill to write precise, compelling, fact-led content for online news audiences.

What You Will Do

• Investigate news topics and confirm information using trustworthy sources.
• Draft news stories, scripts, explainers, and feature pieces.
• Develop original story angles and support editorial planning.
• Create research notes and background material for anchors and reporters.
• Keep all output accurate, original, and aligned with editorial standards.
• Follow political, social, and national developments closely and regularly.

Skills and Experience Needed

• Strong written Hindi with the ability to produce polished news copy.
• Excellent research, analysis, and fact-checking ability.
• Good understanding of politics, society, and current affairs.
• Capability to write clearly, engagingly, and without errors.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and digital journalism will be useful.
• Creative thinking and careful attention to detail.

Preferred Education and Background

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Hindi, or a similar discipline is preferred.

Experience

The role expects 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in news media, digital journalism, or content writing.
