Role overview
SSAB Special Steels is hiring a proactive, high-performance Regional Sales Manager for its Value Added Parts business in Saudi Arabia. This role is part of a globally oriented, ambitious team and reports to the Area Sales Manager.
The position is centered on Central Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities that also extend partially to Pakistan. The focus is entirely on value-added products and the development of business opportunities for Special Steels.
What you will do
- Take charge of sales presentations, proposals, and contract preparation independently.
- Negotiate commercial terms such as pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions.
- Help shape the sales strategy and convert strategic objectives into practical sales actions.
- Set sales goals for Central Saudi Arabia and parts of Pakistan, then translate them into clear activity plans.
- Plan customer visits, coordinate follow-ups, and carry out the execution of the regional sales plan.
- Visit customer sites, take measurements, enter them in AutoCAD, and prepare estimates and quotations.
- Identify new leads and opportunities to upgrade customers toward Special Steels in target segments.
- Improve sales workflows and keep customer records updated in Salesforce.
- Maintain business practices that align with SSAB’s code of conduct and sustainability expectations.
- Handle customer questions promptly and build strong, lasting relationships.
- Share customer insights and competitor intelligence with the relevant internal teams.
Requirements
- A university degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in value-creation sales.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation abilities in English, and preferably in the local language as well.
- Solid commercial understanding, including finance awareness and strategic thinking.
- Capability to take measurements on site and work with AutoCAD for estimation and quoting.
- Valid driving license.
- Willingness to travel within the country and, when needed, outside the country, including Pakistan.
