Regional HR Advisor - Retail

Job Overview

A dynamic retail business in Ireland is seeking a Regional HR Advisor to support multiple stores across the region. This role is ideal for someone with previous regional HR experience within retail or hospitality sectors. You will report directly to the HR Manager and serve as the primary HR liaison for your area, collaborating closely with Regional and Store Managers to foster engagement, enhance performance, and advance employee development.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal HR contact for all support requests within your retail region.
• Coach and develop Store and Regional Managers on performance management, absenteeism, conduct issues, and employee relations.
• Take ownership of employee relations (ER) cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring fairness and consistency.
• Assist with investigations, disciplinary processes, and handling complex people challenges.
• Lead initiatives to boost employee engagement, retention, and development in stores.
• Support succession planning and facilitate talent discussions within the region.
• Analyze people data to spot trends and propose practical, commercially viable solutions.
• Play an active role in embedding company culture, values, and best practices throughout your region.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified in CIPD or actively pursuing this qualification.
• Demonstrable experience in retail or multisite environments.
• Strong expertise in employee relations, capable of managing cases independently.
• Comfortable with regional travel and face-to-face relationship building.
• Pragmatic, approachable, and commercially minded.
• Enjoys visibility in stores and working in close partnership with operational management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, balancing empathy with sound judgment.

Compensation

Salary range from a337,000 to a345,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
