Overview
Are you driven by Lean and Six Sigma principles and determined to achieve tangible enhancements? Do you excel in spearheading change and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels? Can you transform strategy into practical action and foster a culture centered on continuous improvement? GXO Logistics is seeking a skilled and motivated Regional Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager to oversee the execution of CI strategies across three major sites in Ireland, specifically at Dublin 11 and Dublin 17 locations. Collaborating closely with Site General Managers, customers, and continuous improvement teams, you will focus on driving cost saving, operational excellence, and cultural transformation.
Work Schedule and Benefits
This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position offers competitive compensation reflective of your qualifications and experience, along with 25 days of annual leave plus statutory bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the continuous improvement approach across several sites, ensuring initiatives align with both business and client goals.
- Identify and prioritize impactful improvement projects targeting cost reduction, productivity enhancements, and overall efficiency gains.
- Support and optimize the deployment of an upcoming Warehouse Management System (WMS), maximizing operational outcomes.
- Coach and mentor CI coordinators and site teams through Lean training sessions and workshop facilitation.
- Oversee governance structures, monitor performance metrics, and report on progress ensuring that expected benefits are realized.
Qualifications and Skills Needed
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, preferably holding a Black Belt certification or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success in leading continuous improvement projects within dynamic operational settings.
- Strong communication and influencing capabilities at multiple organizational levels.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to prioritize and align initiatives to strategic business targets.
- Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, resilience, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
