Role summary
This six-month contract combines recruiting coordination with proactive sourcing. The position is designed for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving, high-volume hiring environment and can balance candidate outreach, interview logistics, and pipeline building.
Key responsibilities
The role is split roughly evenly between sourcing and coordination. On the sourcing side, you will identify passive candidates, engage them with tailored outreach, support screening, and keep talent pipelines updated. On the coordination side, you will manage interview scheduling, candidate communication, offer-related tasks, and recruiting operations support.
Sourcing duties
- Find and connect with passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent databases, and other sourcing methods.
- Create and sustain pipelines for current and upcoming hiring needs across areas such as Engineering, Sales, and G&A.
- Draft personalized outreach that encourages strong reply rates.
- Review incoming applications and carry out initial phone screens to gauge fit and interest.
- Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role needs, ideal profiles, and the talent market.
- Monitor sourcing performance, including response and conversion metrics, and refine tactics accordingly.
- Keep candidate information accurate and current in the ATS.
Coordination duties
- Arrange interviews across different time zones and calendars, including phone screens, panel interviews, and onsite or virtual loops.
- Act as the main candidate contact during the hiring process and help ensure a smooth experience.
- Handle interview logistics such as room booking, video links, interview kits, and travel support when needed.
- Publish and manage job requisitions in job boards and internal systems.
- Assist with offer preparation, background checks, and reference checks.
- Maintain ATS data quality and prepare recruiting reports and metrics as required.
- Support recruiting events, career fairs, and employer branding activities when needed.
Requirements
- At least 1–3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, sourcing, or a related talent acquisition or HR role.
- Hands-on experience with an ATS such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, or similar systems.
- Working knowledge of sourcing tools and techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, and X-ray searches.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally to candidates.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple calendars, priorities, and open roles at once.
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential candidate and business information with discretion.
- A team-oriented approach and a genuine focus on delivering a positive candidate experience.
Nice-to-have experience
- Background supporting technical hiring or high-volume recruiting.
- Experience using recruiting CRM tools such as Gem or SmartRecruiters.
- Exposure to employer branding or recruitment marketing.
