ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers is a rapidly expanding healthcare provider in Maryland dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care within the community. We are seeking licensed Radiographers who excel in dynamic environments and contribute positively to the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct radiographic examinations by taking x-rays while adhering to established protocols and positioning guidelines.
• Educate patients by explaining procedures and ensuring correct positioning before imaging.
• Implement radiation safety standards to reduce exposure for patients and staff.
• Support basic patient care activities such as triaging and discharge when radiology workflow permits.
• Take vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, height, and weight.
• Perform simple lab procedures like EKGs, urine specimen collections, and influenza nasal swabs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent educational qualification is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology (R.T.) program is mandatory.
• Possession of current ARRT certification, Maryland State Radiographer License, and CPR certification is essential.
• Preferred to have at least one year of clinical experience working in a physician's office or hospital setting.
• Knowledge in medical terminology, human anatomy, and proficient use of x-ray machinery.
• Excellent customer service skills complemented by strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to follow company travel guidelines.
• Physical ability to work shifts longer than 13 hours, stand or walk extensively, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including availability on weekends and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive pay ranging from $35 to $40 per hour with potential overtime opportunities.
