About the Role
We are seeking a diligent QuickBooks Accounting Specialist for a contract position, offering flexible remote work arrangements. The role involves managing various financial tasks using QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop to perform daily accounting activities.
- Handle invoicing, timely bill payments, and bank reconciliations accurately.
- Prepare and examine Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements to ensure correctness.
- Systematically maintain the Chart of Accounts, customer records, and vendor details.
- Detect accounting discrepancies and workflow inefficiencies, proposing improvements as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop platforms.
- Demonstrated background in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Competence in financial reporting and bank reconciliations.
- Strong analytical abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
Additional Information
This contract offers a variable weekly commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours, with compensation between $50 and $80 per hour.
