Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will collaborate closely with the experienced commercial team to ensure projects are delivered successfully. This role emphasizes relationship management, optimizing commercial outcomes, and diligent risk oversight.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate and select suitable subcontractors, negotiate and finalize subcontract orders, and perform financial as well as commercial oversight through to account closure.
- Manage and report on financial forecasts, targets, account reconciliations, site documentation, variation claims, valuations, and support site records and document control processes.
- Work alongside site management teams to provide commercial insight, challenge decisions when appropriate, and safeguard the company’s contractual and commercial rights.
- Oversee Assistant and Trainee Quantity Surveyors, ensuring the accuracy and sign-off of measurement and valuation tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated background as a Quantity Surveyor in residential and commercial building projects.
- Proficiency in report preparation, financial forecasting, and client and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- A relevant third-level educational qualification is essential.
