Role Overview
We seek a skilled Quality Control Engineer responsible for supervising all QA/QC functions related to the precast production and installation phases of our high-rise building project. This role demands vigilance in quality assurance across various stages and coordination with multiple teams to maintain high standards.
Key Duties
- Conduct thorough quality assessments during precast production, covering reinforcement placement, mold integrity, concrete mix, curing methods, and finishing quality.
- Perform inspections both prior to and following concrete pouring activities.
- Verify adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and established QA/QC protocols.
- Apply expertise in Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) mix design and control of concrete quality metrics.
- Maintain accurate documentation pertaining to inspections, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and on-site construction teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Have between 3 to 8 years of experience specifically in precast QA/QC functions.
- Demonstrate familiarity with precast manufacturing processes and quality standards typical of high-rise construction projects.
