About the Role
At LEX Diagnostics, we aim to revolutionize diagnostics by making them quicker, simpler, and more accessible without compromising accuracy. Our LEX VELO point-of-care PCR platform delivers lab-level results directly where needed. Central to our success is ensuring our reagents meet stringent quality standards, which is where you come in as a Quality Control Scientist.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality control testing on raw materials, intermediate reagents, and finished products using qPCR and RT-qPCR techniques.
- Adhere strictly to established protocols and maintain clear, precise documentation of all testing outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with teams in Biology, Manufacturing, and Quality to guarantee every batch fulfills our high standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist in refining QC methods to support product scaling.
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice and alignment with ISO13485 and FDA-aware quality management systems.
- Play a pivotal role in assuring the reliability and reproducibility of one of the world's fastest PCR diagnostic systems.
Candidate Profile
- A degree in molecular biology or a related scientific field.
- Proven practical experience with qPCR and RT-qPCR, including troubleshooting capabilities.
- Exceptional precision, accuracy, and thoroughness in documentation and experimental work.
- Strong communication abilities to clearly present data.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative laboratory environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Prior exposure to in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) or medical diagnostics.
- Familiarity with ISO13485 or equivalent quality systems.
- Experience conducting QC tests for regulated products.
